Mom Essentials for Sick Kids February 01, 2016 08:00 1 Comment

Happy February 1! Can you believe Valentine's Day is two weeks away? It's going to be heart tees all day every day over here.
Our weekend started off strong on Friday with the launch of our highly requested monogrammed pink pajamas...

...but by Friday afternoon, Chloe got hit hard by a nasty bug. Poor babe! So we spent the rest of the weekend trying to entertain a stir crazy 5 year old, a feverish 2 year old and feeling like the walls were caving in on least they were in cute and comfy jammies ;)

Gentry's Closet Must Have for Sick Kids
We have quite a few essentials that we always keep on hand in case of a sick kiddo emergency. When our girls get sick, it seems like it happens without warning and suddenly they are down for the count so a run to the drug store with a snot nosed, crying child is not what I wanna do at midnight (or ever).
We are loving this Air Innovations humidifier - The mist feature leaves the whole house with a humid haze and it feels like North Carolina in the Summer - doesn't sound ideal, but it's perfect with super congested little ones.
Gentry's Closet Blueberry Muffins
I spotted this recipe for Blueberry Streusel Muffins on Little Baby Garvin's Blog and have been dying to give it a try. With hubby and Gentry braving the mad-house that is Costco on a Sunday and Chloe taking a long nap, I had a giant cup of coffee and got my bake on!
So tell me, what are your must-haves for the family medicine cabinet?
Here's to hoping everyone has a healthy week!
XO, Vibeka
